About the Publisher

Grant Crary lives in San Diego, California, and is an associate pastor

at the Grove Church. He joined the church staff in 2014, having spent the former years of his adult life working as an accounting manager/controller in large manufacturing companies

in the aerospace industry.

These years of secular employment have given him experience and understanding in the everyday workplace that have helped him

in his ministry to individuals, and also helping in the financial

and administrative aspects of churches.

Grant was born in the United States but grew up in Auckland,

New Zealand, returning to the United States in his late twenties.

He has lived in several cities before moving to San Diego in 1991.

He and his wife, Jillian, have four children and eight grandchildren.

Since his early twenties, Grant has been consistently active in ministry to people, praying over individuals, counseling, and teaching. He has a strong desire to help others walk closely with the Lord and come to know Him better. Consequently, how to grow as a Christian is a

theme that runs through much of his teaching.

Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in business and also a Master of Theological studies. However, he will readily tell you that the lessons he has learned from his personal study of the Bible and the things

that God has taught him have been the most valuable aspects

of his education.
